Resistor manufacturer Riedon’s existing ERP system lacked functionality and was slow and inflexible. As Riedon’s business expanded, the software’s limitations prevented the company from moving forward against the competition. To help Riedon address their long-term business system needs, CMTC provided resources and expertise to perform an enterprise software selection (ERP, MRP, and key modules). CMTC worked with Riedon to identify and qualify vendors and implementers; prepare vendor demos; and vet references—and ultimately provide Riedon’s management team with the tools they needed to evaluate and select viable enterprise systems. As a result, Riedon reports $40,000 in cost savings, $100,000 in capital investments, $100,000 invested in workforce practices, and $70,000 invested in information systems and software in the past 12 months. The company was also able to retain 1 to 2 jobs following the ERP implementation. Click here to view the video testimonial!

CMTC recently engaged with Allett Wallets, an apparel accessories manufacturer, to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy to help the company sell new products and generate more sales. Components of the strategy included a website audit and redesign, content strategy and development, and a robust email marketing campaign. CMTC consultants provided art direction, digital asset creation, copywriting, and video production. As a result, Allett was fully prepared to scale up quickly to introduce, market, and sell new products. The marketing strategies earned significant local media attention, which in turn generated increased sales. During the initial four months, Allett was able to hire a temporary team of 15 people. They began working with 12 new local contractors and purchased materials and services from another 13 new vendors across Southern California. In addition, Allett was able to hire one new full-time employee. Allett estimates a sales increase of $1.5 million over a 12-month period, enabling investments of $22,400 in new products and processes and $5,000 in plant and equipment improvements. In addition, Allett designated another $2,000 for employee learning and development.
