Over a four-month period, CMTC aided Elite Robotics, a machinery and equipment manufacturer, to support the company’s exploration of target markets and product diversification. CMTC developed a marketing strategy that included comparative market analysis and email campaigns, and also provided the company with support in hiring a sales team. CMTC assisted in developing a lead generation initiative for Elite Robotics through the implementation of five BizBytesTM programs which included the creation of attention-getting graphics and digital email blasts. As a result of the B2B activities initiated through the CMTC project, Elite Robotics hired two salespeople and received a high number of warm leads. The company reported a $500,000 increase in sales, hiring a total of 20 new employees, and retaining two employees in the six months following their engagement with CMTC. Heal Together Coalition
Throughout Los Angeles County, businesses in both the private and public sectors are implementing vaccine mandates. However, they face a low uptick in vaccinations among employees and operate in industries with high transmission risk. As vaccine mandates roll out across LA, it is critical to ensure vaccine access and equity for the workers of Los Angeles. The Heal Together Coalition provides businesses and labor organizations opportunities to host their own vaccine drives at any location in LA County through the LA County Department of Public Health’s Mobile Vaccine Clinic. Interested organizations can sign up to host an on-site COVID-19 vaccine drive by clicking here. The Heal Together Coalition has also published an Employer Toolkit which includes additional information and resources.
CMTC Spotlight
CMTC recently delivered employee training to Tempest Technology Corporation, a fire and rescue equipment manufacturer, to help drive the company’s growth. Tempest Technology’s leadership team recognized that a primary bottleneck limiting the company’s growth was the need to hire outside engineers and product designers – a practice that was delaying design response time. To solve this problem, Tempest Technology contacted CMTC to provide software training so that their employees could gain the skills needed to produce new product designs in-house. Over the course of four days, CMTC delivered SolidWorks Essentials CAD software training to two Tempest Technology employees who successfully completed the course. As a result, Tempest Technology was able to build capacity and increase client satisfaction by improving design response time and minimizing the need for outside engineers. To date, the company has innovated and developed two new products using the skills gained from the training. Tempest Technology estimates that one of these new products will generate $40,000 in monthly sales.
