One of Action Duct’s biggest challenges was sales and marketing. Action Duct wanted to better leverage their website to drive consistent qualified leads online and generate sales nationwide. In order to do that, Action Duct needed a website that clearly defined their services as well as their customer base. CMTC redesigned and optimized Action Duct’s website, created landing pages, and managed their Google Ads account, resulting in qualified leads and sales – and, ultimately, an ROI of over 800%. CMTC has continued to partner with Action Duct on a variety of other projects, helping the company overcome operational challenges and improve employee management. Check out the full video here!
California's New Harassment Avoidance Training Law
Will your company be compliant with California's new Harassment Avoidance Training law by the December 31, 2022 deadline? California State Bill (SB) 1343 mandates that all employers with five or more employees are legally required to provide Harassment Avoidance Training — two hours for supervisory staff and one hour for non-supervisory staff — to fulfill all California requirements. All employees must be trained within six months of being hired or promoted and every two years thereafter.
To help ensure all California manufacturers are compliant with these new rules by the December 31st deadline, CMTC is offering no-cost “live” virtual training sessions facilitated by certified Harassment Avoidance Trainers. Avoid penalties, fines, lawsuits, and claims – click here to sign up for a no-cost session today!

CMTC Spotlight
CMTC recently engaged with Gro-King Garden Sprayers, an agricultural equipment manufacturer, to help the company revitalize their online presence with a more contemporary and user-friendly website. CMTC provided design and technical support, working directly with Gro-King’s leadership to identify areas of opportunity and goals that a new website could help address. The most significant goals were to educate current and potential customers about what products the company has to offer and to optimize the buying process for both the user and the Gro-King team. CMTC consultants updated Gro-King’s website content to make it easier for customers to identify their needs. As a result, Gro-King has found that their customers are now more knowledgeable about what products are available to them which means less time spent on the phone for both the customer and the Gro-King team. After working with CMTC, Gro-King anticipates a cost savings of $5,000 and a $20,000 sales increase due to the updates and modifications made to their website. Company leadership has stated that the improved functionality of the website has saved time and increased their productivity, allowing them to focus more on customer connection and education as well as improving their manufacturing processes.
This project was funded with proceeds from the Small Business Technical Assistance Program grant, funded by the California Office of the Small Business Advocate. To learn more about the SBTAP grant, submit this form.
